Printer is printing blank films

Getting blank films when least expected?

Sounds like the printer could be clogged or it could be low on ink. Clogged heads and being out or very low on ink can sometimes look the same.

First, check your ink levels either visually or from the printer's utility feature or look on the front control panel of the wide format printer to determine ink levels.

If the ink level is sufficient, print a nozzle check from the printer drivers utility followed by a cleaning if needed. It is suggested not to run too many cleanings as ink will be consumed in doing so. If after 2-3 cleanings the head is not opening, it’s suggested to use a safe and efficient cleaning solution to do so such as Amaze-INK.

The key is to get a clean nozzle check print in order to print a successful film.
