Sharing AccuRIP Emerald Driver From Mac to PC (Apple to Windows)

Multiple computers can share AccuRIP® Emerald, this includes sharing across OS platforms.

STEPS:

1.  On the host Mac open System Preferences(System Settings), go to Printers & Scanners, then select the AccuRIP Emerald printer driver.
2.  Be sure that “Share this printer on the network” is checked.
3.  On a Windows PC you wish to share the AccuRIP printer driver to open the Control Panel and then “View devices and printers”.
4.  Click “Add a printer”.
5.  Select the AccuRIP Printer Driver then click Next. When the driver installs click Finish.

TIP: Print without having to approve the proof positive preview, on the host Mac open AccuRIP, go to Preferences to turn on Bypass Preview.

NOTE: The AccuRIP Emerald PPD will need to be installed on each PC printing via the shared AccuRIP Emerald printer driver. See more in our article: Shared Printer Driver PPD
