Using AccuRIP's Layout feature, you can reposition an image on the film before printing, allowing for more efficient film usage.
From a graphics program, using the AccuRIP Emerald printer driver, print a file into AccuRIP to have it displayed in the Proof Positive Preview.
NOTE: If the print processes immediately without showing a preview, go to AccuRIP's Preferences (AccuRIP menu on macOS / Edit menu on Windows) and turn off Bypass Preview. This setting skips the preview and sends the job directly to print. Disabling it will allow you to see the preview before printing.
Step 2: Set Layout Options
An image can be moved to Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right, or Center, or use the Custom option for precise positioning. The Custom setting allows you to adjust the X-axis (left to right) and Y-axis (up and down) for precision placement.
Step 3: Print file
Once a file is in the desired position, click Apply to lock in the change. Click Print to send print for output.
