A PPD (Postscript Printer Description) file describes a printer’s abilities to software. When sharing the AccuRIP printer driver across a LAN (Local Area Network) it’s critical that a proper printer model PPD be selected during the print driver sharing setup.

If setting up a shared printer driver on your LAN is not for you, installing a license of AccuRIP onto each computer using Freehand License Manager (FLM) to activate and deactivate a license allows independent use and control to TCP/IP networked, WiFi or local USB wired printers without having to share printer drivers.
