How to Share Custom Ink and Textile Libraries in Separation Studio® NXT

For print shops and designers working across multiple computers or collaborating on color separations, sharing custom Ink and Textile libraries in Separation Studio® NXT is a simple and effective way to ensure consistency.  Whether preparing artwork for production or standardizing settings across teams, shared libraries help streamline workflows and improve accuracy.

How to Export a Shared Library:

  1. Go to the WINDOW menu and select INK or TEXTILE
  2. Select a custom-made library to be shared
  3. Click button
  4. Select Export Library
  5. Choose a location to save the file; the file saves as .json
  6. Click Save – the library is now ready to share

How to Import a Shared Library:

  1. Go to the WINDOW menu and select INK or TEXTILE
  2. Click button
  3. Select Import Library
  4. Locate the shared .json file
  5. Click Open – the library is now available for use.
