Create Custom Ink/Textile Colors in Separation Studio® NXT

Creating custom INK and TEXTILE colors in Separation Studio® NXT is fast and efficient for accurate screen print previews:

1. Open the INKS or TEXTILE window and go to the CUSTOM library tab.
2. Click the + icon to create a new color.
3. Enter the RGB, HSB, or LAB values and click ADD.
4. To apply the color:
   • TEXTILE: Drag and drop the color swatch onto the Proof Positive®.
   • INKS: Drag and drop color swatch onto the specific separation being changed in the separations bar. If dragging to the Proof Positive previews, select the separation being changed from the “Apply Ink to Separation” window that opens.

Pro Tip: 

Mac users can find the built-in Digital Color Meter under Go > Utilities. 

Windows users can download Microsoft's PowerToys, which includes a Color Picker tool. These utilities quickly identify any on-screen color and provide its values, making it easy to build custom color libraries instantly.
