If the Separations option is missing in the Print/Output window of your graphics application, it may be due to the following factors:
Select the Correct AccuRIP® Emerald Print Driver
Ensure you have selected the AccuRIP Emerald printer driver when printing. If the manufacturer’s printer driver is selected instead, the separation mode will not be available.
No Separations Mode in Photoshop
In Adobe Photoshop, the Separations option is only available when the image is in one of the following modes:
- CMYK
- Multichannel
- Duotone
If your file is in RGB mode, the Separations option will not appear. To resolve this:
- Convert the image to CMYK, Multichannel, or Duotone mode.
- Select AccuRIP Emerald as the printer.
- Under Color Handling, choose Separations in the print window.
