AccuRIP® Hot Folder Workflow

AccuRIP® offers users the flexibility to configure two types of Hot Folder workflows within the PREFERENCES menu: Input and DTS Hot Folders.
 

DTS Hot Folder (Common Feature):
This configuration allows users to print TIFF (.tif) files directly to a designated Hot Folder by selecting the DTS Hot Folder in the “Select Printer” drop-down. This functionality integrates seamlessly with separate RIP/printer setups, eliminating the need for manual file transfer. To designate the proper path for the DTS Hot Folder, do so in the AccuRIP® PREFERENCES menu.
 

The following DTS resolutions are supported under the Print Tab in AccuRIP after setting up the DTS Hot Folder preference: 300x300, 360x360, 600x600, 720x720, 1200x1200, 1440x1440, and 2880x2880
 

Input Hot Folder (Advanced Feature):
Warning: When you select an existing folder as the Input Hot Folder, AccuRIP® will process and then delete all files already present in that folder. Ensure the selected folder is empty (contains no files you need to keep) before designating it as the Input Hot Folder. This action is irreversible. 
 

This option enables users to designate a shared folder on a network location for workflows that manage PostScript (.ps) files. These files can be dragged and dropped directly into this folder, triggering their processing within AccuRIP® across a Local Area Network (LAN) or from the desktop of the hosting computer.
