AccuRIP Engine Emerald not running (PC)(Windows)

Receiving the error message “AccuRIP Engine Emerald Not Running” indicates that the RipEngine database has become damaged such as from a bad PostScript file. A reset is needed.

STEPS:

  1. Working with the current version of AccuRIP® Software will often resolve a RipEngine issue. To ensure the latest version is installed, re-run and install the Emerald installer from the MY ACCOUNT section of the website.

  2. From the keyboard press and hold the Windows key and the letter R key at the same time to open the Run Program Feature. Type in exactly as it appears here: services.msc  

  3. Once in the "Services.msc" window locate AccuRIP RIPENGINE Emerald.

  4. On the left hand side, click the RESTART or START option, whichever is available.

  5. Restart Emerald and the RipEngine will be running.
