Receiving the error message “AccuRIP Engine Emerald Not Running” indicates that the RipEngine database has become damaged such as from a bad PostScript file. A reset is needed.
STEPS:
- Working with the current version of AccuRIP® Software will often resolve a RipEngine issue. To ensure the latest version is installed, re-run and install the Emerald installer from the MY ACCOUNT section of the website.
- From the keyboard press and hold the Windows key and the letter R key at the same time to open the Run Program Feature. Type in exactly as it appears here: services.msc
- Once in the "Services.msc" window locate AccuRIP RIPENGINE Emerald.
- On the left hand side, click the RESTART or START option, whichever is available.
- Restart Emerald and the RipEngine will be running.
