Separation Studio® NXT PRINT Window Sections

The Separation Studio NXT PRINT window includes three essential sections that allow users to customize separation printing settings for optimal results:

1. SEPARATIONS Menu:

This menu enables users to select specific separations or print all available separations in the file.

• Print ALL Separations: Toggle the option to the RIGHT to print all separations. When activated, each separation’s toggle will turn GREEN, indicating it is included in the print session.

• Print Individual Separations: To print specific separations, toggle only the separations you need, leaving their switches GREEN while others remain RED. Red toggles indicate those separations won’t be printed, giving users control over exactly which separations are included in each print session.

2. MARKS & LAYOUT Menu:

This menu provides customization options for layout and registration marks to ensure precise alignment on the final print.

• Custom Templates: Users can select from pre-imported templates or choose from a variety of built-in stock templates for different print needs.

• User Defined Layout: This section allows further customization, enabling users to adjust registration mark placement, mark size, spacing (gap), and scaling. Fine-tune the overall layout to suit specific project requirements and ensure all elements are correctly positioned for accurate printing.

3. MEDIA PREVIEW Menu:

The Media Preview menu ensures that the selected media size aligns with the RIP (Raster Image Processor) settings for accurate sizing and film fit.

• Set Media Size: Choose a media size that matches the settings in AccuRIP Emerald® or another RIP being used. Proper alignment here ensures that the print size and film layout match the intended output, reducing the chance of scaling or fit issues on the final print.

These menus in the PRINT window are designed to offer control and flexibility for achieving precise, professional-quality separations and optimized print layouts.
