With a simple click, KnockOut White makes it possible to achieve both goals effortlessly.
When using the Spot Process® software engine to separate tonal raster Sim Process RGB images, the white screen plays a vital role in image reproduction. Known as the Magic White, this screen helps develop secondary and tertiary colors, which is recognized as the most effective way to print an RGB-based image.
The KnockOut White feature enhances Separation Studio® by removing unnecessary data from color screens, allowing the base screen to efficiently manage both base and highlight areas.
For those new to this feature, we recommend keeping the adjustment sliders in their default positions until you become more familiar with its capabilities through hands-on experience.
