Running a Windows OS on a Mac using Parallels or VMware software is not recommended. Performance is significantly slower and the setup can be complex. It is strongly advised that users run each operating system independently on separate computers.
When working with graphics, your computer needs all the power and RAM it can get. Using virtual software running on the same processor can seriously impact performance, and those who install and run it with the default settings usually encounter less than ideal results. Freehand does not support Parallels or VMware. For setup support, please contact the manufacturers directly.
