Can a file be edited once uploaded to NXT-Moves?

Updating and/or replacing an image file after being uploaded to Moves can be done without deleting and uploading an entire new project.

STEPS:

1. Edit the original PDF in Illustrator, Corel, or whichever graphics program is being used.

2. Open the file in NXT.

3. Upload the file using a different name.

4. In the library folder/projects, copy the zip file into the ORIGINAL file folder. Change the name to match and replace the original file uploaded.

5. Back in NXT, click the Edit Project file icon for the file then just upload the file again.

6. Refresh the Moves page and the image will be updated.

TIP: Theoretically, the image could be completely changed as long as it’s given the same name as the original.

Knowing that a file can not open or reopen in NXT to then be uploaded using the “same name”, these steps will allow users to alter the image without having to create an entirely new file:

In the example below, to break the lower jaw outside the line and then use it in the design to update the original image using those steps, these are the results.
